Pacific Nurseries is wholesale only to those in the trade.

Placing an Order or Requesting a Quote
Orders can be placed in person, or via phone, fax or email. You can download, print, fill-out and fax our order form to place an order or request a quote. Or just download the form, fill it out in Adobe Acrobat, hit the SUBMIT button and the order form will be emailed to us for processing. Click here to get Adobe Acrobat Reader.

1) Come in, call, email or fax.
Drop-ins at our Colma facility are welcome any time during operating hours

Although many items are seasonal, we try to keep a large selection of trees, shrubs and ground covers in stock for immediate purchase. We also welcome inquiries about the availability of any particular item.

You can also order your plants ahead of time so that we can have them assembled before you arrive. See Will Call.

Because we are wholesale only, the nursery is not open to the general public. Should any of your clients want to see their plant material first, we encourage you to escort them. At no time do we encourage our customers to send their clients to the nursery on their own.

2) Specify order or inquiry/price quote
When contacting us, please specify whether you are placing an order, inquiring about price and availability or all of the above.

When we receive your order we will furnish a price quote. We will also furnish details regarding plant availability.

Because we are both growers and brokers we will source those items on your list, which may not currently be in our inventory and provide pricing of materials (plants) from our vendors. Plants that we receive from outside agencies may be limited in quantity and therefore subject to availability. Also, please be aware that pricing may fluctuate from vendor to vendor.

We encourage you to request a quote before or at the time of placing your order.

3) List plants and specifications

In placing your order/inquiry, the following information is required:

Quantity

Size by container typically, or by trunk caliper/tree height if applicable

  • (typical container sizes: 1 gal., 5 gal., 15 gal., 24" box, etc.)

  • Trunk caliper is measured in inches, tree height in feet

Plant botanical name (genus and species), with variety and form if applicable

  • e.g. Plumbago auriculata (genus & species)

  • e.g. Pittosporum undulatum std. (form)

  • e.g. Camellia sasanqua 'Setsugekka' (variety)

  • e.g. Ligustrum japonicum 'Texanum' cone (variety & form)

After you have received your quote, simply confirm which plants you want and we will secure and hold the order for you. After your order confirmation is received, we will finalize the order with our inventory and suppliers. Should there be any items that are unavailable at that time we will inform you and, if possible, suggest available alternatives.

4) Timing
It is important for us to know when you need your order. Please furnish a will call or delivery date. Orders can be held for up to 15 days after confirmation. Any orders requiring longer hold times will be done by special arrangement only and may be subject to a maintenance fee.

5) Will call pickup or delivery
Please let us know if you will be picking up the order or if you would like it delivered.

Please refer to the Order Form to determine the information we will need in order to fulfill the order/quote.

Filling Your Order
Once the order has been confirmed, we will assemble your plants in our will call or shipping area, as appropriate. Orders will first be filled with our in stock inventory. Once in-stock items are assembled, the order is sent to purchasing to confirm availability and order any necessary remaining material from our vendors.

Depending on the number of in-stock items, average order turn around time can vary from inside-of-a-week to up-to-a-month. This wide variance is due to the fact that some of the nurseries we work with deliver to us three times a week, others once a week and still others once a month. If you need your plant material ASAP, we will work with you to select varieties that are either readily available on-site or come from one of our more frequent delivery partners.

Status of your order
Please, feel free to call any time during normal business hours to check your order status.

Once the order has been assembled, we will contact you to let you know it is ready.

If your order is close to completion, but is being held up by an item or two that are unavailable or hard to find, we will call to alert you. Similarly, any other time we anticipate a delay, we will do our best to make you aware of the fact as soon as possible.

We accept cash, company check, Visa or MasterCard. We encourage you to register with us when you come in. Having your company information in our system helps us track your orders and communicate with you.

Pacific Nurseries will open credit accounts for companies who complete our Credit Application and Account Agreement, have sufficient credit history, and maintain a suitable payment history. Payments on credit accounts are due NET 30 following date of invoice. A service charge of 1 ½% per month will be issued on all overdue accounts. A $25.00 fee will be charged in the event of bounced checks.

Pacific Nurseries assumes no liability for plants after they have been accepted by the customer. Care is taken to keep plant varieties true to name. However, it should be understood that should any plant prove otherwise, we shall not be liable for more than the invoice value at the time of purchase.

Pacific Nurseries is absolved of all responsibility for any damage to or mortality of the plants originating from factors indigenous to the planting site, manner of plant installation or plant maintenance.

Unless plant is damaged, unsuitable for sale, or sent in error, all items returned will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Pacific Nurseries accepts no liability for orders delayed or voided due to crop failure, strikes, inclement weather, drought, flood, fire, frost, war embargo, or any other act of nature or circumstance beyond our control. Claims must be made immediately upon receipt of goods.

If we are in error, please notify us immediately and we will adjust accordingly. We will not entertain claims that are filed after goods have been accepted or which are not made within three days after arrival of stock.

Title to the stock sold hereunder is and shall remain in the seller until purchase price is fully paid. The seller shall have the right to immediate possession of and recovery of stock in the event of default. Should any suit be brought to recover the stock or any sum due hereunder, or should any claim against buyer be placed in the hands of a collector the buyer agrees to pay reasonable attorneys and/or collectors fees

Orders are only accepted on these preceding terms.
